Market Overview

Aon publishes this quarterly from its own placement data, tracking rates, limits, deductibles, and how much coverage insurers will actually put up. Property rates were down about 15% in Q1 2026, and shared and layered programs, the structure most large portfolios use, came down closer to 20%. This edition also carries 2026 Atlantic hurricane season forecasts.
